Drive Angry
Drive Angry is a 2011 American supernatural action film starring Nicolas Cage and Amber Heard, and directed by Patrick Lussier. It was released on February 25, 2011. Shot in 3-D, the film was met with a mixed reception and grossed almost $30 million. John Milton is up against the clock: Jonah King, the leader of a Satanic cult, has murdered Milton’s daughter and kidnapped her baby. In three days, King and his followers will sacrifice the child at midnight. Milton picks up the trail in Oklahoma as well as rescuing a waitress named Piper from her brutal, two-timing fiancé. There are odd things about Milton: his driver’s license is out of date, he has a very strange gun, and he’s being pursued by a man in a suit who carries FBI ID and calls himself the Accountant
Theme Tune
Alive – Meat Loaf
I’m still alive
Must have been a miracle
It’s been a hell of ride
Destination still unknown
It’s a fact of life,
If you make one wrong move with the gun to your head
You better walk the line or you’ll be left for dead
I’m a runaway train on broken track
I’m a ticker on a bomb, you can’t turn back this time
That’s right
I got away with it all and I’m still alive
Let the end of the world come tumbling down
I’ll be the last man standing on the ground
As long as I got blood rush trough my veins
I’m still alive
Lost in the night
Feeling so invisible
Oh, a dead man walking the wire
I have broke the devils net
That’s made of fire
And it’s a long way down from the top of the world
You better look around or you gonna get burned

The Charger was redesigned for 1968, and sales increased. Based on the Chrysler B platform, the model years received various cosmetic changes to the exterior and interior including: an undivided grill, rounded tail lights, and hidden headlights. The powertrains were the same as the ones used in the 1967 Charger. The model was not successful in stock car racing such as NASCAR. A more aerodynamic shape formed the Charger 500 model that became the basis for the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona.
John Milton (Nicolas Cage) is an undead criminal who has broken out of Hell to kill Jonah King (Billy Burke), a cult leader who tricked Milton’s daughter into joining his followers in the wake of Milton’s death, only to kill her and her husband and steal their daughter -Milton’s granddaughter- to be sacrificed in a Satanist ritual.
After interrogating some of King’s followers, Milton discovers that the ritual will take place in Stillwater, a prison in Louisiana. He heads there, but stops by a diner, where he meets Piper (Amber Heard), a waitress. Milton’s car is damaged, so he sabotages Piper’s car, a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T and follows her to fix it in exchange for a ride on the way to Stillwater.

Piper: Gimme one good reason I shouldn’t shoot you in the face.
Milton: I’m driving.
Piper: You know what I mean!
Milton: I’m going to kill you.
Jonah King: Ah, Milton, so many have tried. But I am armored with a power that you will never know. Nothing of this earth can kill me.
Milton: I’m not of this earth.
Milton: Even in Hell there is compassion.

The Accountant: You’re not the first to get out, and I doubt you’ll be the last, but I have got to know, how did you get out with the God-killer?
Milton: I just walked in and took it.
The Accountant: Oh. Wouldn’t wanna be you when he finds out.
Milton: What’s he gonna do? Not let me back in?
Trivia
The coin the Accountant uses throughout the movie is an Obolos, from ancient Greece. In those days, Obolos were placed in a dead man’s hand (or two over his eyelids) by mourners as payment to Charon the Ferryman, who was in charge of crossing souls over river Styx into Hades, the Greek version of Hell. This would support the Accountant’s role as a retriever of lost souls.
The name of Nicolas Cage’s character is John Milton. This is likely a reference to Paradise Lost, an epic about Satan’s expulsion from Heaven and the creation of Hell, which was written by John Milton.
The Latin inscribed on the god-killer’s bullet reads DEUS VELOX NEX, which loosely translated means ‘God’s swift [violent] death’
