Theme Tune
Consider the main theme for Jurassic Park, one of the loveliest pieces of music ever made for a summer blockbuster, and how it’s introduced in the movie. You first hear it in a moment of pure awe, when Drs. Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler, who have no idea what they’re in for, first see dinosaurs—the first time you see dinosaurs in the movie

Trivia
Jurassic Park is considered by many to be one of the greatest films ever made, as well as a landmark in the vector of visual effects
While Crichton’s book features Toyota cars on Jurassic Park, Spielberg got a deal with the Ford Motor Company, who provided seven Ford Explorers. The Explorers were modified by ILM’s crew and veteran customizer George Barris to create the illusion that they were autonomous cars by hiding the driver in the car’s trunk. Barris also customized the Jeep Wranglers featured in the production.
Following an extensive $65 million marketing campaign, which included licensing deals with 100 companies, Jurassic Park grossed over $900 million worldwide in its original theatrical run. It surpassed Spielberg’s 1982 film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial to become the highest-grossing film at the time (a distinction it would yield to Titanic four years later). The film was well received by critics, who praised it for its special effects and Spielberg’s direction but criticized the writing. The film won more than 20 awards (including 3 Academy Awards), mostly for its visual effects. Following a 3D re-release in 2013 to celebrate its 20th anniversary, Jurassic Park’s total gross eclipsed $1 billion, making it the 17th film to do so. It currently ranks as the 14th-highest-grossing film worldwide

Jurassic Park
Dr. Ian Malcolm: God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs.
Dr. Ellie Sattler: Dinosaurs eat man. Woman inherits the earth.
John Hammond: All major theme parks have delays. When they opened Disneyland in 1956, nothing worked!
Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but, John, if The Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down, the pirates don\’t eat the tourists.
Dr. Ian Malcolm: [while being chased by the T-Rex] Must go faster.
Dr. Ian Malcolm: [as they escape the T-Rex chasing after them in the Jeep] You think they\’ll have that on the tour?
[last lines]
Dr. Alan Grant: Hammond, after some consideration, I\’ve decided, not to endorse your park.
John Hammond: So have I.
