Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is a 2016 American superhero film based on the fictional superhero team the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It is the sixth theatrical Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, the second and final film in the reboot series, and a sequel to 2014’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The Turtles’s new vehicle in this film is the Turtle Tactical Truck, which is based on various vehicles from the TMNT saga:
The Turtle Van from the previous film (a horn playing the “TMNT” theme)
the second Battle Shell from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003) (an undercover vehicle to use outdoors)
the Hauler from Turtles Forever (2009) (a customized garbage truck).
and the Shellraiser from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012) (a vehicle with a cannon that fires manhole covers).
The Turtles continue to live in the shadows and no one knows they were the ones who took down Shredder. Vernon is the one everyone thinks is the one who took Shredder down. April O’Neill does some snooping and learns a scientist named Baxter Stockman is working for Shredder. He plans to break him out while he’s bringing transported
[Bebop and Rocksteady see how they’ve mutated]
Bebop: You’re a rhinoceros!
Rocksteady: And you’re a… I don’t know what you are!
Bebop: [sees his reflection] Huh, I’m a little piggy?
Baxter Stockman: You’re a warthog.
When April breaks into police headquarters, her fake ID shows her name as “Renet Tilley”. Renet Tilley is a time-traveling character from the TMNT comics.
The rest of the details on the ID (date of birth, height, eye color) are that of Megan Fox.
[Rocksteady blows up the plane he and Bebop and the Turtles were in]
Bebop: Dude, seriously?
Rocksteady: That’s my bad, I got carried away…
Bebop and Rocksteady’s motorcycles were designed by motorcycle designer Paul Teutul Jr.. Teutul has a cameo in the film as an armed correctional officer behind Casey Jones when Shredder is loaded in the van at the beginning of the film.

Megan Fox and Will Arnett returned as April O’Neil and Vern Fenwick respectively; also confirmed were the Shredder’s return, and Bebop and Rocksteady debut in the movie. In an interview, William Fichtner stated that he would be returning as Eric Sacks, but for unknown reasons, he ultimately did not appear in the final film. However, he could have returned for the third installment, considering he (along with the turtle actors, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson and Pete Ploszek) signed on for three TMNT films at the time
As April removes her blonde wig, her natural dark hair suddenly changes from being pinned back to all combed out and cascading down her back and shoulders.
