Theme Tune
Justify My Love – Madonna
I want to hold your hand in Rome
I want to run naked in a rainstorm
Make love in a train cross-country
You put this in me
So now what, so now what?
For you to justify my love (my love)
Hoping, praying
For you to justify my love
Not like that
I don’t want to be your mother
I don’t want to be your sister either
I just want to be your lover
I want to be your baby
Kiss me, that’s right, kiss me
For you to justify my love
Yearning, burning
For you to justify my love
What are you gonna do?
Talk to me, tell me your dreams
Am I in them?
Tell me your fears
Are you scared?
Tell me your stories
I’m not afraid of who you are
We can fly
Whose pleasures depend
On the permission of another
Love me, that’s right, love me
For you to justify my love
I’m open and ready
For you to justify my love
To justify my love
Wanting, to justify
Waiting, to justify my love
Praying, to justify
To justify my love
To justify my love
I’m open, to justify my love
My love

Quote
Dom: You almost had me? You never had me – you never had your car… Granny shiftin’ not double clutchin’ like you should. You’re lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn’t blow the welds on the intake! You almost had me?
Extra: You Tell him Dominic. Get out of here
Dom: Now, me and the mad scientist got to rip apart the block… and replace the piston rings you fried.
[closes bonnet of car]
Dom: Ask any racer. Any real racer. It don’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning’s winning.
[Crowd cheers in agreement]
Trivia
Edwin: It’s not how you stand by your car, it’s how you race your car.
1970 Dodge Charger R/T – Actual Hero Car driven by Vin Diesel in The Fast & The Furious. This is the actual, screen used, Dodge Charger driven by Vin Diesel in the original The Fast and the Furious movie. It is the most iconic car from any of the Fast & Furious movies.
The 1970 Dodge Charger R/T was kept inside the garage of the Toretto House, was built by Dominic and his father in his youth. When his father was killed in a stock race accident by Kenny Linder, Dominic refused to drive the Charger because he was afraid of it.
Quote
Dom: I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bullshit. For those ten seconds or less, I’m free.
Trivia
The driver of the KJ Transport big rig truck for the final truck heist is Kevin Smith from Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995) and Xena: Warrior Princess (1995). In the DVD commentary director Rob Cohen made note of this since the role was uncredited for the film. He also mentions in the commentary that he kept Kevin’s face obscured to give the same anonymity that he did to the other truck drivers.

A. Toyota

D. Chevrolet
At the house party, Dom says to Brian, “You can have any beer you want, as long as it’s a Corona.” This is a reference to automobile innovator Henry Ford. Although he probably never said, “You can have any colour you want, as long as it’s black,” and although the Model T to which he was supposedly referring was made in several colours (including a couple of shades of green and red as well as grey, blue, and several others), the phrase has long been attributed to him, the Model T was not available in black during its first years of production.
